WHALEcome to Beulah Elementary School, home of the Whales! It is both a privilege and an honor to serve as the principal of this incredible school community. At Beulah, we believe every child is known, valued, challenged, and supported. Together with our families and community, we are committed to helping every student reach their fullest potential.

Beulah is more than a school. Our school is a family. Our faculty, staff, parents, students, and community partners work collaboratively to create a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. We know that strong relationships are the foundation for meaningful learning and lifelong success.

Our school proudly embraces the theme, "All Hands on Deck!" We believe student success is a shared responsibility, and when families, educators, and the community work together, incredible things happen. Whether supporting learning at home, volunteering at school, or celebrating student achievements, every contribution makes a difference.

Our dedicated educators are committed to continuous learning and collaboration to ensure every student receives high-quality instruction and the individualized support they need to succeed. Through small-group instruction, intervention services, enrichment opportunities, and innovative teaching practices, we strive to meet the unique needs of every learner. Students also benefit from our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework, social-emotional learning, and a 1:1 Chromebook program that enhances learning through a variety of digital resources.

Beyond academics, Beulah offers students meaningful leadership opportunities and experiences that foster confidence, responsibility, and a sense of belonging. We believe every child has unique strengths to contribute and deserves opportunities to grow as both a learner and a leader.

Thank you for choosing Beulah Elementary School and for partnering with us in your child's educational journey. Together, with all hands on deck, we will continue building a school where students are inspired to learn, empowered to lead, and prepared for a bright future. We are excited to welcome you to another wonderful year at Beulah!

Mrs. Jennifer Bouchard - Assistant Principal

I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving as your assistant principal. With 25 years of experience in education, I can confidently say that the partnership between school and community is the heart of a thriving educational environment and I am incredibly proud to be a part of this one.

Before joining Beulah, I held both teaching and administrative roles in Chesterfield, Amelia, and Hopewell. I am a proud alumna of Virginia Commonwealth University, Averett University, and The George Washington University. My husband and I live in Chesterfield County with two of our children. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, cheering on my kids in their various sports, reading, and finding any opportunity to be near the water.

As we look ahead, I remain devoted to fostering a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment where all students can thrive. My purpose has always been rooted in service, and I am honored to continue walking alongside you in support of our shared mission.

Thank you for your trust, your partnership, and your belief in the power of education. It is a privilege to serve you, and I look forward to what we will accomplish together in the year ahead.

Yours in education,

Jennifer Bouchard (jennifer_bouchard@ccpsnet.net)

Dr. Diana Rios - Assistant Principal

It’s a great day to be a Beulah Whale! I am honored to serve alongside the administration team and the hardworking faculty and staff of Beulah Elementary as Assistant Principal. The culturally rich population of Beulah is one with which I am familiar and have had the privilege of serving throughout my career.

I am originally from San Antonio, Texas, and I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in education from Texas State University in 1998. As a military spouse, my educational experience spans five states. Since my husband retired from the Army in 2021, we have decided to call Chesterfield County our forever home. My twin boys attended Chesterfield County Public Schools and are now at Virginia Tech in the Corps of Cadets. Go Hokies! I joined Chesterfield County Public Schools in 2016 as a teacher at Ettrick Elementary. After several years of teaching, I pursued my master’s degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Liberty University and graduated in May 2020. I am proud to share that I completed my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies through Virginia Tech in 2024.

As a parent myself, I understand the difficulties and pressures that come with the school year. My passion lies in working with children and fostering positive relationships with students and their families. I believe that strong relationships create a supportive and secure learning environment where every student feels valued. This environment not only promotes academic and social growth but also aligns with Beulah’s vision. I am committed to working closely with Beulah’s teachers and staff to bring this vision to life while also building enduring relationships with parents, students, and our community partners.

I deeply appreciate the trust you place in us as parents and am dedicated to embodying our school’s theme of “All Hands on Deck.” Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
